  • Guided onboarding for men and women : We designed two separate onboarding journeys that clearly explain Islamic guidelines, platform expectations, and participation rules from the very beginning. This ensures that every user joins with clarity, seriousness, and full understanding of the process.
  • Marriage focused profile creation : A structured profile system was developed around values, long term goals, religious alignment, and readiness for marriage. Privacy controls were integrated, and profiles require matchmaker review before activation to maintain quality and intentional participation.
  • Strong verification system : Email, phone, and identity verification for US users were implemented, along with optional background checks and manual approvals. This creates a safer and more trustworthy environment while reducing fake or unserious accounts.
  • Matchmaker led matching process : Public browsing and swipe style behavior were removed and replaced with a curated matching system. Dedicated matchmakers review profiles and propose compatible matches based on shared values and long term compatibility.
  • Mediated communication flow : All interactions are facilitated through matchmakers using structured conversations and guided interviews. This approach maintains respectful dialogue and alignment with Islamic boundaries.

Problem Statement

  • The platform needed to clearly differentiate itself from dating style applications. Many existing solutions encourage casual interaction, lack strong identity verification, and fail to accommodate Islamic boundaries or family involvement. This results in trust concerns, emotional fatigue, and cultural misalignment for Muslim communities in the United States. A structured, guided, and accountable system was required to restore seriousness and confidence to the marriage process.

Results

The final outcome is a structured and trust centered matchmaking platform that replaces casual browsing with intentional, values aligned engagement. Through guided onboarding, strong verification layers, matchmaker oversight, controlled communication, and optional family participation, the platform now offers a dignified and respectful path to marriage while strengthening credibility, user confidence, and long term reputation within the community.
